Financial Analyst

The purpose of this role is to work on the development and update of financial models, particularly the development and periodic update of IDB-OCR financial statements projections and going forward for the Waqf and ISFD as well. Additionally, the holder of this role will be involved in the development of Financial Policies as well as providing analytic support to the Office for the development thereof and for the development of tactical hedging and to Treasury Department for borrowing plans.

  • Participates in annual budget preparation of FPPO.
  • Involves in project initiatives with identification of target deliverables.
  • Support financial policy writing with analytics
  • Technically support the development of specific policies/plans
  • Generate Periodic Cash flow projections
  • Run ‘what-if’ scenarios in relation to financial projections
  • Project liquidity & borrowing requirements
  • Project rate & maturity mismatches in assets and liabilities
  • Develop and update existing and new financial and risk analytics
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to the financial analysis assigned to FPPO
  • Provide support to other Finance Complex Departments through analytics, development of financial models etc.
  • Provide technical guidance to YPs and less experience staff.
  • Draft financial reports for review by senior staff and subsequent submission to the IDB – Management (e.g financial trends relating to Profit rate, Liquidity requirements and Currency etc.)
Experience

8 Years of experience with Bachelor degree in Finance / Accountancy / any relevant discipline or 5 years with Masters degree

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Finance / Accountancy / any relevant discipline or Master degree
