Role Purpose:

  • To plan, develop, implement, evaluate and maintain Talent Management frameworks, programs and systems to help meet organizational needs of the right high potential talent in all key positions in the Bank through world-class identification, assessment, development, replacement and succession processes. 

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

  • Develop annual Talent Management Plan and propose budget for the planned programs.
  • Provide talent management insights and analysis to key stakeholders to support Talent Planning in the Bank.
  •  Participate in discussions with senior management on talent management and strategic staffing issues.
  • Contribute to the development of organizational talent management strategy keeping in line with the organizational strategy, culture, internal and external talent landscape, supply and demand situation.
  • Develop, implement and maintains talent management frameworks such as, Competency Framework, Career Management Framework, Assessment Framework, Critical Positions, Talent Review and Succession Framework, guidelines, tools and processes.
  • Ensure cross cultural, gender and geographical inclusion in the talent management programs in line with the organizational policies.
  • Interpret departmental policies and provide clarification to internal and external HR stakeholders. 
  • Manage identification of Critical Positions at the organizational level and maintain their inventory for replacement and succession planning.
  • Plan and manage Talent Management cycle including communication, assessment, talent segmentation, high-potential programs, replacement and succession planning.
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning in partnership with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Facilitate talent segmentation and maintain all the records for talent assessment, risks, and development with due confidentiality.
  • Follows through the development planning and programs for the inventory for Hi-Pos and potential successors / replacement candidates.
  • Develop Talent Exchange and secondment programs in consultation with internal and external stakeholders and maintain such program in line with the Bank’s Talent Strategy.
  • Develop and implement Career Management programs to cover the career development needs of all the segments of staff in the bank like managerial, advisory, technical, administrative. 
  • Manage vendors, external consultants and service providers to ensure procurement and implementation of world-class talent management programs, assessments and systems.
  • Conduct Talent Management knowledge-sharing, induction, orientation and familiarization sessions
  •  Maintain rapport with the internal and external talent trends, research and best practices.
  • Administer Talent Management and Career Management Systems and ensure their effective management in coordination with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic talent management surveys to gauge efficiency, effectiveness and outcome of talent management programs as well as satisfaction of internal stakeholders.

Education, Experience & Certification:

Academic and professional qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Talent Management, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Occupational Psychology, Industrial Psychology or in similar field.
  •  8+ years of experience in Talent Management, Career Management, Competency Management and Assessments and Talent Management Systems

Skills & Necessary Knowledge:

  •  Strong knowledge and experience in Talent Identification, Assessment and Segmentation programs using 9 box grid
  •  Strong knowledge and experience in managing Hi-Po Programs and Succession Planning
  •  Strong knowledge and experience in dual-track / multi-track Career Management programs 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Korn Ferry Leadership Architect competency model, or other models
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Cornerstone on Demand or other cloud based Talent Management System 
  • Experience in using SAP Adhoc Query or generating reports from SAP HCM system 
  • Strong experience in conducting orientation, knowledge-based sessions on Talent Management, Career Management and Competency Management
