Role Purpose:

The role is responsible for carrying out the recruitment process by reviewing the filled up requisition forms received by the departments, follow up with the HRBPs to establish the valid manpower requirement against budgeted positions, support the sourcing strategy through advertising vacancies through sourcing channels, ensure the arrangement of the necessary logistics for the interviews, participate in interviews as a panel member from HR department, draft reports of the panel’s recommendations of the final selection’s decision, formulate and follow up on the job offers and the job confirmation letters. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collaborates with HRBPs to identify each vacant position’s sourcing requirements and provide support of updating the valid manpower requirement plan against budgeted positions.
  • Provides guidance to HRBPs, HRSC teams, Hiring Managers, and Interviewers on the recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assists the HRBPs/Hiring Managers in submitting the recruitment requisition form based on the vacant position’s job description and the job’s demands.
  • Builds and maintains talent pools/candidates’ database (employment agencies, headhunters, recruiters, media, and internet sites)
  • Follows up with and manages the various sourcing channels (website, search and recruitment firms, social networks, etc.)
  • Advertise of the vacant positions internally (internal database, announcement boards, etc.) and externally (advertisement agencies, headhunters, search engines, LinkedIn and social channels) to source for candidates.
  • Screens the received applications against the pre-set measures, conducts the initial interviews (i.e. skype, telephone) to assess candidate's skill level, interest and cultural fit and a develops list of candidates for the managers’ shortlisting.
  • Coordinates with the HRSC the interviews’ attendance, schedules, location, participants, logistics, etc.
  • Participates in the technical interview (as a panel member from HR department) and draft reports of the panel’s recommendations.
  • Coordinates the final interview’s logistics and prepares reports of the final selection’s decision.
  • Prepares and negotiates the job offers with the approved candidates.
  • Prepares and presents the necessary on-boarding documents to the new employee.
  • Continuously improves and redesigns the onboarding processes and procedures for more efficiency and effectiveness to ensure high-level productivity of the new comers.
  • Responsible for conducting the new employees’ orientation and on-boarding program. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Academic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or any other related field

  • Certifications from SHRM / CIPD / Psychometrics preferred

Required languages

  • English (Mandatory)
  • Arabic (Preferred) French (Preferred)

Minimum number of years and nature of experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources (resourcing / recruitment / talent management), ideally in similar type multilateral institutions
