Purpose

The role is to develop systems that increase operational capabilities of its members by capitalizing on the power of data. The role is also expected to spread the culture of Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data Analytics (BDA) among IsDB Group

Key Accountabilities

• Develops systems that increase operational capabilities of its members by capitalizing on the power of data 
• Spreads the culture of Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data Analytics (BDA) among IsDB Group and Member Countries.
• Contributes to position IsDB as the international hub for data as well as best practices in using IoT and BDA in sustainable development projects.
• Provides technical assistance to the member countries to improve government services through the use of IoT and BDA.
• Establishes and manages an international collaborative network of parties that can contribute using IoT and BDA for sustainable development, e.g. Government Agencies, Academic and Research Institutes, Private Sector, NGOs, Individual Volunteers and Community Service Groups.
  
  

Requirements

Academic and professional qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in Math, Statistics, Big Data, Computer Science or related field.

Experience:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Big Data management and analytics.

Languages:

• English - Mandatory
• Arabic - Preferred
• French - Preferred
