- Contribute to developing the Administrative Services Department strategy, budget, and business planning processes.

- Manage the Facility & Service Delivery Center’s budget and ensure that the development plans, programs, and budget requirements are in line with the Administrative Services Department requirements and priorities.

- Oversee the daily checks on all facilities (mechanical, electrical, audio/visual, pass control, civil and architectural, plumbing and pumps, firefighting, elevators, and housekeeping) to keep all services running.

- Suggest and implement measures to improve the facilities and the performance of related tools and machinery (mechanical, electrical, audio/visual, pass control, civil and architectural, plumbing and pumps, firefighting, elevators and housekeeping) and to ensure sustainability and quality of services at the IDB.

- Chair the bidding committees for all biddings and contracts pertaining to the division and oversee the relationship and projects between the division and sub-contractors.

- Choose all the facilities in newly created regional hubs to ensure all facilities are adequate for business requirements and adhere to IsDB standard of safety.

- Develop and oversee the space management policy including workplace standards to ensure that office space is allocated equitably and is utilized in an efficient and cost-effective manner to support the IDB group’s business needs.

- Establish and oversee the operations of a Helpdesk that responds to day-to-day items such as (not limited to): furniture repair, special cleaning needs, picture framing and hanging, light bulb replacement, repair of small fixtures, heating/cooling problems, plumbing problems, small scale painting, and carpet tile replacement to ensure all IDB needs are met on time.

- Oversee the delivery of services requested for meetings that take place in the IDB’s HQ and for the annual IDB meetings including audio/visual and interpretation equipment.

- Achieve functional objectives of the division by setting divisional and individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback to maximize subordinates and departmental performance.

- Develops the division’s policies and procedures in alignment with global best practices and the regional legal and regulatory guidelines, and approve the policies and procedures by the department’s director.
