Job Purpose:
  • The role is responsible for providing technical expertise and support the development, implementation and maintenance of the talent management programs.

  • The job holder is responsible for providing the operational expertise as well as facilitating the ongoing use of the SPMS , troubleshoots system issues, and manages all the staff electronic evaluations.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:
  • Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of the performance and talent management system, framework, policies, and programs and provide advice and recommendations to the management and staff.
  • Advises the staff in defining their own objectives and KPIs based on the departmental business plan.
  • Monitors the performance management process, establish objectives with the concerned managers, and coach the employee about preparing objectives and the evaluations.
  • Manages the staff performance management system (SPMS), facilitates the system’s use and conduct the needed troubleshooting.
  • Serves as the primary performance management system administrator and manages the staff’s electronic evaluations on the system.
  • Assists in issuing system notifications, handling escalations, and providing resolutions to system issues and errors.
  • Provides support to staff in regards of completion of their SPMS including resolving any technical issue they may face.
  • Provides guidance and follows up with new employees on the completion of  their SPMS.
  • Assesses the performance management program and provide analyses and recommended changes for senior management approval.
  • Provides training and assists the managers in the yearly performance management processes
  • Researches best practices, and benchmarks relevant policies and practices with similar organizations or market leaders.

 

Experience:

Academic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or any other related field
• Certifications from SHRM / CIPD / Psychometrics preferred

Languages

• English (Mandatory)
• Arabic (Preferred)
• French (Preferred)

Minimum number of years and nature of experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources (performance management, talent management, learning and development / training), ideally in similar type multilateral institutions
