Role Purpose:

Support the overall delivery of IsDB’s digital strategy across website and social channels

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of IsDB’s website and social channels, including developing and uploading new content
  • Support the Digital Lead with IsDB’s social media channels, including helping with community management and responding to reactive inquiries
  • Assist with the planning for social activity, proactively identifying opportunities and developing new ideas
  • Assist with uploading content to digital channels to ensure a steady drumbeat of new content
  • Help to grow IsDB’s social channels to increase engagement and reach
  • Work collaboratively with other colleagues in marketing and communications to advise on digital activations and opportunities
  • Support the Digital Lead with reporting and measurement of IsDB’s digital performance
  • Keep on top of new trends in digital marketing and share with colleagues how IsDB can optimize performance by harnessing new and emerging platforms or tactics
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Academic qualifications
Master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
 
Languages
• English (Mandatory)
• Arabic (Preferred)
• French (Preferred)
 
Minimum number of years and nature of experience
• 3-5 years in a digital marketing experience required
• 5 years in a communications role with a global organisation or business, with demonstrated success
• Proven experience of designing and delivering a successful creative campaign, with measurable success
• Proven experience of designing and delivering a successful paid for media marketing campaign
• Experience of working on a range of major global consumer and corporate brands
• Deep interest in keeping up with digital trends that can positively impact our business

 

Job specific competencies
• Sound editorial judgement 
• Experience of running integrated communications campaigns and of developing platform-specific content across digital channels
• Results-driven with a strong track record in measuring and evaluating digital-first and integrated campaigns 
• Digital native with exceptional understanding of the digital landscape and latest trends in digital marketing including new opportunities
• Excellent understanding of digital media best practice and ability to explain digital concepts clearly and succinctly
• Self-starter with ability to hit the ground running
• Web editing and video skills desirable
• Interest in global development
